I paid $2.86 last night for BP Regular - gotta love the Chase Rewards BP gives back in free gas - when I filled up here in Jacksonville.

 

Woohoo, I just gassed up for $2.59. All week it has been going down down down and I've been holding out. Gas is in limited supply here so to find a place that has it AND for a decent price is difficult to say the least. In a span of 5 miles prices go from $2.79 in the heavy touristy area to $2.59 in a "not so touristy" area.

On a positive note this is the first I've been able to log my mileage for 4 months since I loaned my Insight to my dad which he did not log the miles/fill ups as I asked. Sooo, now I am starting over with a fresh new database (real new as I have never logged one here).

 

I paid 269.9 the other day in Palatine Ill. and today went past a station in Highland Ind. for 255.9

 

I saw it as low as $2.75 last night which is the lowest since Katrina.
Funny how I say "Low as $2.75".
This price at the same time last year would have thrown this entire country into a panic.

 

Most are down to $2.44 here in S. Jersey but I did see 1 at $2.38.

 

In Baltimore, it's between $2.79 and $2.99/gallon. It was as high as $3.99 for a while. When it dropped to $2.99, the stupid SUV owners started driving their land yachts 90 MPH again.

 

Wow, remind me to never need fuel in your area!

Gas prices have slunked down again, saw $2.49 today, though I filled up last week at $2.59.

 

Regular unleaded in the UK currently stands at the equivalent of $6.12 per gallon.
I pay a little more than that for diesel. Nice huh?

 

Down to $2.67 for the lowest price in Phoenix AZ as of Monday 10-17-2005

 

Still hovering around $2.95 here in upstate NY (I've seen $2.99 and $2.93, and everything in between).
