I just found out that the gas in California is going up by $1 per gallon by tomorrow morning. (i.e. $2.90 to $3.90)! My dad went to the gas station and the guy was changing the numbers. Dad asked and the guy said that they all got the word to bump it by $1 per gallon for tomorrow morning. GET YOUR GAS TONIGHT!

 

I just went to fill up at my local Valero station, and the price wat $2.89. So I asked the owner about a pending increase. His response - "They told me to stock up today before 5:00 PM", which he did (2 loads of 10,000 Gallons), and the price did not change between the deliveries. Therefore the price he has today will be the price for the weekend! No big increase here in San Jose, CA

 

Gas has held steady by me as RITA approached... Around $2.90 a gallon.

Been using my new Hess Gas VISA card. 10% rebate on purchases as Hess for the 1st 90 days, 5% afterward. That certainly helps since I buy 100-120 gals a month ($290 - $350 at todays prices)

 

DC area gas is now $2.99-$3.20

 

$3.26 here on Kauai. Promised to go up again. We are definitely a captive audience, about this and all other expenses.

 

$2.81-$3.09 in manassas.. of course tomorrow is another story!

 

i have a widget on my computer that gives me updates of the "cheapest" stations in a certain radius of a zip code, here in savannah regular is up to $3.21, back home in the palm beach area regular is only $2.86... usually GA is much cheaper than FL. i must have been imagining things but i could have sworn i saw gas here a few days ago for $2.39... maybe it was actually $3.39...

 

Gas in Colorado Springs is about $2.81 or $2.87 for regular.

 

Most of the regular in Jacksonville is up to $3.09 now.

 

Still $2.80 in Phoenix
