___There was a lot of juggling in the ranks and I expect to see even more over the coming weeks and months with the southern drivers using less A/C and the Northern ones left out in the cold so to speak.
As if I required a reminder.

Autumn is beautiful in New Mexico, though. Too bad it presages a frozen Prius. I think I am adequately motivated to clean out the garage, and put an engine heater on the block. Dropping down into the 40's MPG again is just ... wrong.

Oh, and Wayne. I'll thank you not to mention the "V" word. My sleep is restless enough.

I wonder if Jason should start a Personals section.

Congratulations to Marsha Ness and Rubber band on your Hyper-Miler status. I averaged out your last ten tanks to show a very impressive 94.3 MPG over the last 8900 miles. Good job.

Wayne
The other day I was asked about my milage and I was bragging about my last 5 tanks that averaged out to 92.3 over the last 5200 miles. The guy asked if I was in the top ten milers in the country. I said I think so but it's hard to tell from the list. I havn't found another car that gets better milage then the 5spd Insight and the Hyper Miler list is a great guide, but it leaves me with some questions. I noticed some Hyper Milers have many thousands of miles but only one entry. Was that just a good tank at the milage listed or is that the average of all those miles? Some Hyper milers have less then the 3000 miles. Is there a easy way to tell who had the best year, summer, winter, 100 gallons, 10 tanks, 3000 miles, 10000 miles, etc?
