Re: What ONE thing really drives you nuts about the TCH
I'm getting 35 hwy on my XLE-V6 and low 20's city.
With a 22/31 EPA rating on the V6 and getting 35 highway, I'd think you'd have no problem staying in the 40's with your TCH (assuming driving the same area). I didn't know people were able to get 4 mpg better than EPA ratings. That's pretty good

The one change I'd like to see would be to have the "BT" and Cell bar display be independent of the radio.
It seems wasteful to have to turn on the sound system to see if a cell tower is in range.

I just press the "Off Hook" button on the steering wheel to pop into the phone screen. This works from any NAV screen mode (nav, audio, info) You can quickly check the sighal strength and it does not interfere with the sound. Just press the "On Hook/Hangup" button go go back to the original display.
I made the assumption you have a NAV. Forgive me if I am wrong.
Even without a NAV I woud try my suggestion anyway. Let me know if it works.

I don't like the fact that it doesn't stand up very well to "Bambi-strikes"...

Re: What ONE thing really drives you nuts about the TCH
* This ONE thing drives me nuts:
1a. While driving, it's nearly impossible to see the "Eco" switch light. Wish this button were in a friendlier dash location. There's a confirmation "Eco" script that appears in the center console when Eco is activated, however.
1b. I don't like/use the anti-glare feature of the inside rearview mirror, and wish it had a default "Off" position so I didn't have to deactivate it every time I drive at night.
1c. Would love to disable the "Accept" screen on the NAV. Once is enough!
1d. The .8 second delay in the rear trunk button is a minor irritation.
1e. All storage bins should come with soft padding to prevent items from rattling.
1f. iPod tunes and controls should be available in the NAV screen.
1g. Why isn't my Smart Key smart enough to lock the car when I leave it?
1h. Every car maker should create a place just to store the Owner's Manual. Mine got ruined in the glovebox by leaking HandiWipes.
* I reserve the right to change my mind about any item on this list.
