The stereo in the 06 HCH will be just like the one in the 06 EX civic sedan. From what I heard in a 06 EX sedan it sounded just like our 05 Accord EX sedan. Which is crappy. Nothing 4ea Infinity Kappas and a Basslink cant fix.

Hi myndreach ; check out the "HCH Options Page" I just posted on a thread in the (Honda Hybrid Forum) it will show you that as I thought that the 06 HCH can be dealer installed with the (Bass-Speaker-System) and X/M Satellite Radio. So unless you just have to have a "Kick-But" sound system and theres nothing wrong with that BTW, I think adding those two options I just mentioned would add to the quality of the 06 HCH factory sound system (IMO) of-course.

The kit costs about $24,000 ish (if you can find one). A brand new TDI engine is $3 K. I don't know how much the AC electric engine cost (more info is here: http://www.penn-partners.org/evteam/attack.htm). I've been thinking about putting it together with the TDI engine, running biodiesel, and forgoing the electric component. The problem is I live in Dallas and there's a lot of hot cars around, so I wouldn't mind being able to "smoke 'em" in short bursts and let them smell my french fry exhaust. But I like the style, and biodiesel potential, more than the 300 hp part.

I'm actively looking for a K-1 Attack kit to do this with. I'm not sure K-1 is still selling kits anymore, though. Their website just has turnkey cars on it now.

For the about price of a decked out Prius (and 2000 hours of labor) or a Honda Accord Hybrid, you could have a supercar.
