Slowspark01 - I see from a thread below you sent in the app on 10/17 and they cashed your check 11/12. Most importantly (maybe) - what # did they give you? (I sent in app on 11/1 so am a few weeks behind you!).

NEVER MIND! Got my letter today with sticker # 827XX to be delivered after 1/1/07! Yeah! I sent my application & check to DMV on November 3.

I sent in my application on November 17th and reached DMV on Nov. 22nd (based on racking) . It seems that sticker count has reached around #827XX which indicates that there are around 3200 sticker left. I am now concerned if I might make it.

That's only a little bit more than 2 weeks after me. I'm thinking you're gonna be ok...... (knock on wood).

The sticker number that on my letter is 820XX.

califdude - based on kpalmal's number 827XX, it looks like there were only about 700 stickers assigned in the 3 week time between when I and kpalmal sent in our applications. Looks like you should be getting one based on that math.

Why does everyone (I now notice) not put the last two digits of the sticker # (using XX instead of number). Is there some sort of security risk?

11/03 - Purchased Prius
11/10 - Received plate number from dealer & sent application
11/13 - Application received by DMV
12/19 - check cashed!!!
