Very good points, livvie. My HCH2 don't rattle, but then again, I probably would not hear it over the tire noise!!! Cheers H

Thanks. Yeah, tire noise was a big problem as well. I ended up switching the OEM with another brand (summer only tire, Sumitomo) and that did reduce the noise. so now i can hear the rattle (lol).

I am sick of seeing articles on "WHAT IF GAS is ....XXX" I freaking care!

I like paying LESS than $3.00 a gallon for GAS... WHY WOULD I WANT my gas cost to go up?

I hope we never see a day here in the United States that gas will equal $6.00 a gallon. If anyone here has done the math, our tank will cost us $66.00 a fill up!!!

I personally do not care about the guy/gal next to me that needs to fill up a large SUV or car that has a larger tank and consumes more. I am not buying their gas. I am ONLY paying for MY TANK!

But one reason you pay $3 not $2 is the extra gas consumption from all those SUVs.

Supply and demand determines prices.

It is a false sense of supply and demand.

Oil companies should not be posting record profits every year!

Listening to several local talk radio stations, the government is considering a tax on the oil companies. What is that going to do to the consumers? It will cause prices to raise again.

We all just need to say no to oil. If the oil companies see people taking alternative transporatation, then we might regain control of our oil prices.

Rising gas prices will only encourage more people to purchase more fuel efficient cars. Gas in my area is 3.5-3.979 right now. As long as the oil companies don't drop the price to steer people away from alternative fuel again, I think that there will be a lot less SUVs on the road in the next few years.
my 2 cents
