Re: highest miles 2006 HCH
Heya Jordan -- you must not have your last 1 or 2 tanks in the Database ... I'm finally ahead of you again. Wheeeeeeee! I'm wondering if I can last to the new year on this tank (at 455 miles now). I'm only 700 miles away from 10th place so midway thru Jan should do it for me. Congrats to all of us up at the top.
12/29 mileage database status (weighted rank):
14th place - Flash @ 19,958 miles over 37 tanks (since Aug 7)
15th place - JordanCS @ 19,692 miles over 38 tanks (since Aug 10)

Re: highest miles 2006 HCH
I had an unusually long week of driving for work last week which vaulted me over 10th place and solidly into 9th place in the Mileage Database when sorted by Distance (moved up 5 places in two weeks). I drove about 1,200 miles in 3 days last week at an average of about 30 mph (which makes for some long days). Yep - that got me back up to 22,000 miles today on the 22nd week of owning the car since new or still maintaining the 1,000 miles/week average. With the bout of warm weather that has allowed me to maintain a 48.7 mpg lifetime average with some days in the low 50s still in the middle of winter.

I knew it was too good to be true. Still, I'm in the Top 10 in the mileage database after just 5 months. BOTH of us really live in our cars, eh? I wasn't planning on driving to Dallas in April for my family reunion but maybe I have to now just to claw back up to you. That would give me an instant 2,500 mile boost in one weekend. Yee-haw. Keep up all the miles.
