There's an 2000 Insight on ebay with over 162,000 miles on it.
So for those worried about longevity. Here's proof that it has been done.

Wow! I wonder, though, what condition the battery is in. It may take another grand to replace it.

I'd love to hear more from the person who ends up owning it.
Have you ever seen any Prius or HCH with this high of mileage?

There was a Prius THS that a man used as a taxi in NY that had about 200,000 miles on it before Toyota bought it back from him. It was in the news, but I can't seem to find it online.

Hi Jason:

___The Prius Taxi driver was from Vancouver, BC. IIRC. As far as a pack replacement, when a Hybrid pushes into the 150,000 + mile range, I wouldn’t be testing the waters knowing that a high probability of a pack replacement exists in any of them …

___Good Luck

Here is what I found at eartheasy.com:
Recently a Vancouver-based Toyota Prius hybrid car used as a taxi was taken off the road with over 332,000 km (206,295 miles) on the odometer, with no major repairs during the car's history. It was taken out of service because Toyota in Japan wanted to to strip it down and check everything out. The driver was given a new Prius at no charge. from the Vancouver Sun
I tried to search for the article at the Vancouver Sun, but they only allowed searches 7 days back in time.

ME: "just curious: How did you manage to put on 186,000 miles in only 4 years? Are you a traveling saleman perhaps?"

SELLER: I let my mother drive it to church on sundays.

A smart-*** response. I wouldn't bid for this car...

You want to see something truly amazing? A Honda dealer near Washington D.C. has a Civic with 1.1 million miles. That's 1,100,000!

Sorry I can't find the original article, but I've seen it with my own eyes. It was really beat up from 1.1 million miles of travel.

Here's a forum link I found:
