Okay, this article is several years old but it talks about a Prius with 341,000 miles on it before needing a battery change.

My wife is the proud owner of a 2010 TCH with 607000 klms on odometer. It had a new hybrid battery at around 400000klms, an we have just changed the driveline for one with 145000klm on it. It was a taxi in Brisbane Qld Australia. We purchased it a month ago for $6500, about $10000 cheaper than the second cheapest one which had 280000 klms on it. We changed all the interior trim from a 2008 Altese with 45000klms use, cost us $300. Original drivline worked fine, not noisy, but 1 litre of oil per 1000klm a bit heavy. New driveline was won on Ebay for $1500, and has been in a couple of days with no problems. Took me 16 hours with hand tools, a trolley jack and an engine crane. Did not remove half the stuff the workshop manual said to. She uses it to tow a dogwash trailer, about 600kgs I think.
