Remote start not starting

Default Remote start not starting
I recently had the 12v battery die. I replaced it and now it seems that remote start won't work. It makes noise like it is hearing the remote but the truck doesn't start. Is there some module that needs to be reprogrammed or reset after the battery replacement? It is currently showing an evap code but I wouldn't think that would prevent remote start.

Turn ON the remote start in the DIC panel.

Nope. Not that.

Maybe it is upset due to the CEL for evap codes?

A CEL active can put you in the penalty box.

Several engine and emissions related codes will NOT allow remote start.
