I am in the process of purchasing a 2WD HiHy. I live in Minnesota, so I asked the dealer if they installed remote start units (to warm up the car remotely in winter). The dealer said they couldn't do remote starts in hybrids. I was wondering if anyone did manage to get one installed in their HiHy.

I did see a reference CD on ebay which claimed to diagram all the wiring necessary to install a remote start kit for highlanders, including the hybrid. I suppose I can snoop around the wiring if nobody else here has tried it.
