Yes. absolutely.
My emissions comments should be restricted to an isolated comparison of engine running vs if the engine had not been running (ie there was no battery pack to recharge, so the engine would have been off or running with less load). But all of it gets wrapped up in your MPG, especially for CO2. I'm embarrassed that I missed that simplest of all metrics! Sorry for any confusion.
