Default US octane, use 87 or higher

Is anyone using > 87? Wondering if its worth it?

Also, my first refill is coming up shortly. Do I have to reset anything in order to get the 'Tank Average', etc to start fresh? ( I know, RTFM )

Thnks, Ed

The search function is your friend when it comes to your octane question. I haven't read anything that shows higher octane will have any benefit.

As far as the tank average...If you have navigation, you need to manually reset the tank average on the navigation consumption screen. The MFD tank average will automatically reset itself once the gas tank door opens and closes. It will reset itself once you put the car into drive and start driving...
