Default Hydrogen car & CO2 emmisions

For any one interested - I have been told by my dealer that the Honda hydrogen car will not make it to the UK because of lack of Government support and the high cost of providing the fuel for what Honda see as too small a market... typical. With these attitudes are we all doomed???
Lets hope Scotland can make it to independence at the next election as our loacl goverment want to introduce tough new CO2 figures.
42% cut by 2012 and 80% cut by 2050 are figures being spoken about.
What are your respective governments saying about the CO2 figures?

What we really want is an all electric car instead of a hydrogen car. Here's a fuel cell engineer explaining why hydrogen fuel cells are a bad idea:
