Congratulations Hyper-Milers!
Thanks Wayne. I've been off in the wilds of northwestern British Columbia kayaking for the past 2 weeks and just saw this note.
Congratulations to you on your contribution to the Prius record drive - 109+mpg is way past the moon!

Wayne:
Thanks for the encouragement. Just catching up on the thread a couple of weeks and one tank after your post.
Any good tips on stretching those mpgs over winter would be appreciated. Here in northern VA though, snow is a rare commodity (spoken as a true xc skiing enthusiast). Red Miser will go to VT however to seek snow a couple times over the Dec-March period.
Am about to push that last gas gauge bar and test the warning light on this tank of gas..going for my first over 600 miles tank with screen telling me I'm getting 59.0 mpg.

Ok, it looks like gas prices here in my area will likely settle above $3/g.
I filled up after work and it cost $40.00. Rediculous.
Last night I parked with 78.3MPG on the dash, 7 higher than my trip goal.
It's probably because I reset after filling, about 30 miles from home.
(46m total commute but I may have found a better way to handle a bad segment)
It's HIGH TIME I put additional effort into better economy from this car.
Time to raise my goal.
