I was stunned, absolutely, last evening when Nancy Pelosi began talking about CNG powered vehicles, our HUGE surplus of NG, and how that might serve as a fossil fuel bridge into the future.
Amazing, something so highly sensible coming from a politicians mouth....!!!

Gee, five blocks from where I live is a fleet of Natural Gas powered vehicles (cars and trucks) courtesy of the local gas company.

The local gas company (T.W. Philips) has a small fleet of trucks that are fueled by natural gas. There is a natural gas fuel pump in one of their service shops.

Westie:
You didn't listen very carefully. Pelosi made the statement that switching to cng was a step away from fossil fuels and repeated several times that CNG was NOT a fossil fuel. She is a complete idiot and parroting T.Boone Pickens. She also has a massive investment in cng through her connections with Pickens.

Out of curiosity I looked up the public accessible CNG filling station and found one in my hometown and the next 200 miles away (Atlanta). Granted I have seen the "home" filling station as part of the Civic CNG, so the convenience of CNG is relative.
