Don't be surprised to see the steering wheel audio controls on hybrids built in early 2008...

 

Well, not yet. My car's birthday is January 30, and no audio controls. All the ones that just came into my local dealer--no audio controls. I'm not sure if I want to be selfish and have Ford keep them off in the future so that if I can't have them no one can or if they should allow people the option. I'll probably behave and go with the latter. I will say that I think the radio is laid out better than the earlier models so that fiddling with the radio is less distracting/trouble.
