Default Ever noticed - no dew on glass

This morning my wife was driving off in our 2002 Civic, and I noticed that all her windows had dew on the outside. That is pretty normal for this time of year in SoCal.

However, I suddenly realized that my 2008 FEH had NO dew on any windows. I don't know why, but I suspect it is because of the steeper slope on the windows - dew doesn't condense.

I don't think there are any special options or glass treatments on my 2008, but I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this (lack) of dew on the windows?

It certainly saves me some time in the mornings - I don't have to clean off the windows.

Nope... I get dew on all the windows of my 08 FEH. A quick down and up with the front windows is usually good enough. Wipers for the front and back.

Not so much on the back windows... why must they not go down all the way... arrgg...

The rear windows are constrained by the wheel well intruding into the rear door. So it was either have narrow rear windows that go all the way down, with a quarter window at the back, or have full windows that go 1/2 way down...

Dew, and especially frost is more likely to form on dirty glass than super clean glass. Something like, the water molecules need surface area to collect on.
Dust / dirt particles are the perfect size for collection water.

Clean glass will get dew and frost, but much less of it.

( and yes, vertical sufaces get it much less than horizontal surfaces )
