This explains why the coolant temp decreases as quick as it does when in EV mode and I am running the heater here in Colo.

Gary thanks that did the trick. Coolant temps are somewhat steady with the vent off. they are still low in my opinion but seem to track what most are seeing. I remember you posting something about not running your vent system that it cost you FE, I thought you were nuts, but now I see what you mean. I'm gona see if I can disable the heater pump, after all this is Texas.
