2009 Ford Escape Hybrid Driver Climate Control Not Working
Hey Guys,
I have been working on trying to figure out why the driver side climate control **** is not working. I can turn it right or left but the temperature is stuck on 75. Pressing the Auto button in turns on the AC/HEAT but I am unable to adjust the temperature. The passenger side **** works just fine. I ran the Ford Self Diagnostics test on it and received these codes. 12 BO = Front Blower Motor Relay Drive Circuit Open or Shorted to Ground
12 BF = Heated Backlight/Mirror Relay Drive Circuit Open or Shorted to Ground
I do not believe the resistor for the blower motor relay is bad, because the fan works just fine on every setting. The only issue I am having is that I cannot adjust the internal temperature of the car. Please let me know if you have any thoughts or ideas on what would be causing this issue. I have checked the fuses as well, but I could have possibly overlooked something. I called Ford and they said they had never heard of this control going bad before. Please Help!!!
