EV Dodge-Viper-II-(ZB-Phase-II)-2

Intended as a modern answer to the Shelby Cobra, Dodge rolled out the Viper from 1992 until 2017. During its five generations, the race car meets sports car never backed down from a challenge. And it had a fair share of challenges, and a few bumpy stops and starts along the way. However, the car itself never lacked daring. It had an aggressive streak, and rightfully so given the 8.0 to 8.4 liter V10 the Viper had coiled within. With a face-melting 645 horsepower it was a graceful but savage beast.

Honestly, it doesn’t seem that Dodge is especially excited or invested in EVs. Hey, this is the house that muscle built. But the Viper gives Dodge an opportunity to really focus on turning out the best performance on a sports car that could work on different platforms. Bringing back the Viper would be groundbreaking, and take the Shelby sports car ethos into the next generation.
