10 Discontinued Vehicles We NEED to See Revived as EVs!
6. Ford Galaxie
From 1959 to 1974, the Ford Galaxie was a mainstay for the Blue Oval. Additionally, the full-sized car shared its platform with a fleet of rides from the Fairlaine to Courier pickups. It wasn’t the most powerful car, nor the sexiest. But it was a stalwart ride that was solid, versatile, capable, and could come as a 2-door, 4-door, sedan, convertible, and wagon.
Galaxies today pop up at drag races modded out and spitting fire on the track. Or at car shows, where the crisp lines still turn heads.
As an EV, a Galaxie already has the perfect name. But it going to its old-school roots, Ford would open up a world of possibilities. They have seen huge success in bringing back the Bronco and building it for today. Were they to employ this same philosophy to the Galaxie they could take a long loved classic updated as full-sized or mid-sized, pony car, modern cool wagon, slick convertible, or even a compact pickup.
