I've ordered PriusXM for my car. I'll tell you all about my experiences. They lowered their price down to less than $300, by the way. I'm all smiles! Of course, I'm going to college in 6 months and if I can't take my car... well, let's not think about that. <_<

Hi Jason:

___Since you might not be able to take it to school with you, I might be able to take it off your hands for let’s say … Ahhh … 5 tanks or so. You know, just enough time to really see what it’s worth on real gas in real nice temps

___Only if it has XM however

___Good Luck

lol very funny. I think not! You know what's interesting, though? I've only used 21 tanks in a year. And since I haven't yet gone through the gas gauge fix, I'm only using 8 gallons per tank. Consider another 50% to that for capacity, and I could have gone on just 14 tanks or so. And so your 5 tanks would last quite a few months!

Wow, THAT is fuzzy math...

The kit has arrived. Sent Monday, got here Friday. And it went from New Jersey to Florida. I watched the DVD... looks well done, but perhaps a long process. Jon says it will take anywhere from 1-5 hours, but he highly doubts it would be nearer the high end.

I'm installed and waiting for activation. I'll let you know how the process went as soon as my service starts working. I wasn't sure about one thing, though. Is the PriusXM tuner made by Pioneer? They asked and I wasn't sure, but I thought it was a Pioneer tuner so I said so. I suppose I ought to find out for sure before I find out it won't activate!
