2007 highlander hybrid new design comming out
The bottom line is that the EPA designed the fuel economy test, and the manufacturer's never guarantee performance or fuel usage. I'd bet you could run the EPA test ten times, and get ten different results. There are so many variables that affect mileage.
Talk about a disappointing blah design. I was expecting a much more radical one with as close mouthed as it has been. Well looks like I'll be keeping mine longer then I had planned. Hopefully the RX will be more dramatic.
Thank you nomorebenz!
"The Highlander Hybrid's powertrain, a net 270-horsepower, 3.3-liter V-6 mated to an electronic CVT, is largely unchanged from the previous model."
That statement disappoints me, as I had really hoped for a four cylinder Lithium-ion 35 MPG option (call me crazy). Even just the four cylinder would have gotten me to buy, but I suppose I'll wait.
I'm sure that this will be a great vehicle for someone new to the model, but not worth the bite of trading 1.5 years in.
I am glad to see push button start and Bluetooth made the cut.

Don't speak to soon, they to may be dropped on the production vehicle, just like the did on the 06 HH with the Auto door locks, etc. which were even in the manuals and order forms when I ordered mine. Toyota's response was, "that feature didn't make it into the production vehicles, sorry for any problems this may have caused."

OMG! That is not very good looking. Looks like they tried to copy the back of a range rover or something. I think my 06" Highlander Hybrid looks alot better than this one. I am not dissapointed about buying my 06". I am dissapointed about the new look.
