Woke up to scratches on my car.......
both the passenger side doors have thin lines of scratch on them.
Grrrrrr.....

i come back to find the washer bottle i left by my car placed nicely on my trunk! scratched it, i guess il let the pros look at it, polishing compound and wax didnt work

Same happened to me. However mine was only on the driver's side door and was quite deep (somebody must have used a key cos' it was about 16" long)
I had some shallow scratches, apparently from a cat, on my trunk lid. Before treating the car with Diamond-Kote, the dealer buffed out the scratches. Looks perfect.
It is one of those acts that I would look the other way if somebody commited a violant act against the perpetrator (if caught). Unless it was caused by an animal in which case it's just bad luck.
It wasn't from an animal. It was human made but I will never find out who did it.
I am still planning on taking it to see if some of the scratches can be buffed out.
Those that can't, I will use touch up paint to cover so that they don't start to rust.

No, I understand your scratches was from an idiot and not an animal... I'm just saying that one day we are going to hear about an owner catching the idiot in the act and then killing said idiot. If I'm on that jury, when it goes to trial, I'm finding the owner NOT GUILTY.
