Hello everyone,

Recently I had to have some scratches buffed out and even required a bit of sanding. However, I am left with a realitively shining surface although not as shining as the rest of the car. The result is very fine swirls in the clear coat.

After the winter lets up I plan to have the car detailed at a local shop that claims to be able to clean up mild scratches. However, is there anything I can do to restore this section (remove the swirls) short of having it painted (quoted at $250).
