Another thumbs up for Troy Dietrich at Toyota of Greenfield. $695 for the 7/75/0, as of today.

FYI, AAA wanted $1414.

 

I contacted him last night and let me tell you....he was FAST! As soon as I get my TCH in, unless my current dealer will go lower, I am going to buy it from him.

 

I used Troy as well - he was fast, responsive and had a price $200 less than my Dealer - my deal was 7 Years / 100,000 / $0 Deductible for $990 & no Sales Tax as of late February.

NOTE - CHECK your actual agreement as received from Toyota - when it arrived it showed expiration date of 2/22/13 which would be 6 years instead of 2/22/14 for 7 years. Per Toyota Customer Service somehow when it was entered a Plan Code of BB7 was used instead of the correct BB9. Toyota's Customer Service took care of this when I emailed them a pdf of the Extra Care Agreement which showed the BB9 Plan Code. They needed to cancel the previous agreement & issue a new agreement with the right details.

I emailed Troy to let him know of the error - unsure if it was on his end in entering the Agreement on-line or what - he responded immediately & thanked me for the heads-up.

Always a good idea to thoroughly review the Agreement for correct Expiration Dates, Mileage, VIN # etc. to avoid an issue post 36,000 miles...

I still highly recommend Troy & Toyota of Greenfield - given their volume of on-line business they're entitled to a mulligan...

 

Finally rebought my warranty today from Midwest Toyota Superstore (1-800-530-5789, Mark). Quick and easy and their price for a 7/75 no deductible was $645. I also talked with him about prepaid service and he talked me out of it based on the low amount of miles I put on my car. He said I would never get my $ back out of it. My local dealer would have never done that!

 

That is $45 cheaper than what Troy quoted me for the same warranty.

 

That's why I went with them. I normally wouldn't worry about $45 but when everyone has had good experiences with both of the dealers I figured I'd go with the cheaper of the two.

 

Did you get a price quote on a 7/100/0?

 

Midwest quoted someone $990 just last week on 7/100k/0. Same price as Greenfield. (This is actually the dealer cost from the factory, so I'm not sure how these guys are actually making money, maybe they bought service plans in bulk for a discount?)

 

First, let me say that you are all awesome! I pick up my TCH today and because of this thread, I am armed with quotes for extended warranties before I sign the papers. It will be interesting to see how my dealer responds.

For what its worth, I too got the $990 quote from Chris at Midwest Toyota for 84/100/0.

Anybody wanna bet what my dealer quotes? Heh, heh.

FYI... my dealer quoted $2470 for 72/100/50. I think not. He said that they only get $300 profit from that price. Hmmmm.... someone's story isn't quite right.
