2004 Saturn L300 V-6. (Cross-platform with Saab 9-3, Cadillac Catera)
Biggest piece of primate dung in recent history.
Funny... Saturn's new slogan is: "Re-Think American". hehehee.. Did that... I'm cool for about another 25 years thanks.

Went from a 1997 Subaru Outback. Only got about 21 mpg with it - and that's with 4 cylinders. But it was a great car. Great in the snow, and never a problem in the 9 years I had it. Sold it to my sister - an avowed Ford nut - and she's a Ford nut no more! As a matter of fact, they went out and found another Outback they love it so much.
As for me, I love the greater gas mileage, and the higher power of the Camry - it's the best of both worlds! Not too bad in the snow, either.

97 Mercury Sable, 220,000 miles. Avg 22 mpg
to
07 TCH now at 26,000 miles. Avg 37.5 mpg
No regrets.
I was seriously looking at the Prius a couple of years earlier but I absolutely despised feel of the seats. (Me: Can you replace the driver seat with the one from the Camry? Salesperson: Er, no. Me: Sorry, I don't think I could take 24,000 miles a year on those seats.)

'94 Camry XLE...
Loved the car, the V6 was smoooooth but nearly all my driving was stop-and-go city driving and the 16 mpg was killing me! Still on my first tank with the TCH but without much effort I'm already getting 30 MPG.
