So, to quote Nash: "I wanted desert sand mica, and I got desert sand mica"

Ordered #1 Grey and #2 Silver; Changed mind and hoped to get Silver as #1 while waiting; Got Silver and love it. Only drawback is that there are so many (of those that I've seen) Silver TCHs on the road. No regrets though.

Re: What color do you have and what color did you want
I ordered Blue Ribbon (with moonroof, heated mirrors, and a few PIOs) on March 25 and told the dealer that I would not accept anything other than that color and options no matter how long it took. I was given a VIN on May 18 and I picked it up on June 6.
A friend of mine was having transmission problems with his Olds in September and decided to get a TCH. He wanted Blue but was able to get a Red (base) before the end of September to get the full tax credit.

I have had blue cars for years and so I wanted the Blue Ribbon Metallic. Special ordered it with Nav and leather but no moonroof. Received it in August. It's fantastic. Since I keep my cars for many years, I was fussy about the color. However, if I traded more frequently, I would have considered the silver or the grey. Both are nice. My wife has a silver Sienna and it doesn't show dust like my blue.

I wanted a loaded 2007 Titanium Metallic/Ash Leather and got a 2007 TCH fully loaded Titanium Metallic/Ash Leather, I also have a loaded Silver Shadow Pearl/Stone Leather 2006 Sienna... very pleased with the silver color as it does not show the dust/dirt so much...

Wanted Titanium and got it in 3 1/2 weeks. Doesn't show the dust we always have blowing around. Had a Desert Sand Avalon and it would look bad sooner. I guess our Sonoran Desert dust-sand was a different shade!
