I really liked the red as well, but this blue is absolutely stunning when clean and in the sun...

I wanted green. My wife wanted red. We got the only one available at the time, which was our mutual second choice: (Sonoran) Desert Sand Mica.

I didn't really have to make a choice as the Jasper Pearl was what was on the lot and I really liked the color. I wanted a light color that wouldn't show the dirt, didn't want silver or white or beige...so I'm a happy camper. I'm the only one in the area so I had better not do anything wrong or park any place that could get me in trouble !

I wanted desert sand mica, and I got desert sand mica 
I have a horse and the dust from the stables doesn't show up right away with desert sand. My pickup is desert tan for the same reason
I like a clean car, but I'm not going to be a slave to it. Desert sand looks clean for a week or two after washing. I've seen red and black trucks that look dirty the same day they are washed from the brown dust.

When I placed my name on the waiting list (April 11th) I wanted Jasper Pearl first, followed by the tan color, and then the grey metallic. Dealer called me the 2nd week of May and said that the first loaded TCH (sunroof, nav., etc) they were receiving (in the next 10 days) was a Blue Ribbon Metallic. I decided to go ahead with it and I took delivery on 5/26. Very very pleased with the color and I am glad things turned out the way they did. Have added mudguards and body side moulding and I think it now looks better than ever.

We wanted magnetic grey metallic and that's what we got...in fact, just picked it up yesterday! We love it! We got all the options, except for XM/Sirius radio. We'll get that installed aftermarket at some point.
We have been waiting since early August...and though we live only about 20 miles from the Georgetown plant, our new TCH comes from Japan...go figure!
