We received a check in the mail for the exact amount I paid for my oil... they left a voicemail for me and I haven't called them back yet. I am betting that I won't be paying for my oil again .

 

I bought mine in late august, I meant my 07 camry hybrid ofcourse and also purchased the platnium toyota extended warranty for 7 years or 100k miles.
I paid mine like $ 1200 something


Does this cover free oil change?

 

I purchased the extended warranty too - nobody said anything to me about free oil changes. It might be a dealer perk.

OT - With the extended warranty, I'm kinda hoping my battery goes out at 6 years, 300 days. Just kidding - but that would be a hoot, wouldn't it?

 

This is a dealer perk. They offer free lifetime oil changes with any vehicle you purchase, new or used.

 

Yes, the check was to refund me the cost of buying my own oil. The service manager says that they will now stock 0W-20 for the hybrids. I imagine this means that my oil changes will, in fact, be free now .
