The Camry hybrid is equipped with an immobilizer as standard
equipment. The vehicle can be started only with a registered smart key."

 

My insurance company (State Farm) gave me a 10% discount because of the immobilizer. You might want to check with your insurer to see if a similar discount is available. The State Farm deal applies to either an immobilizer or an alarm (you cannot receive benefits for both).
