Palm Springs area-

Selling at MSRP without TTL, unreal. was going to cost me 28800 for cloth pkg. Another dealer wanted to do 25500 TTL otd, but was not the color I wanted. From LA to SD, they do not give you an inch because people will pay MSRP, so haggling is out.

Well you might want to venture out to another state to find a better deal. I live in Texas but bought an 08 TCH fully loaded, every option for $26,500 OTD!! I flew up to Boston and drove it back. It had 8 miles on it when I left the dealer and all the way home 1798 miles I averaged around 39.8 MPG! I really have to thank Onliluv! he is the one that suggested the dealer that had this car. Anyway check dealers in the states around you and you might be suprised at what they might do.

revolution-

i ordered a blue ribbon 09 cloth pkg direct from factory. 22600 delivered to my home state. i dont need it until august, so i can wait. I am temporarily living in california (military). if i would have bought it here, would have had to get cali plates and cali ins (per my insurance company). TTL in cali is 5x my home state. plus insurance on this car for 6 mos in california, is what i can insure this car AND our forester for a year in my home state. kind of a tricky situation for me. living in cali, but not being a resident. it is not as simple as you would think. i would be able to avoid paying sales tax twice etc, but my situation and location made ordering direct best option. by ordering it, i save lots on bs paperwork and questions regarding plating a car in cali, but paying income tax to another state. plus gives me a reason to go home and see the folks.
