They (TundraSolutions) say that they're coming back but don't say when. They're offering a refund if that's what you want. I think I'll wait a month or so before I try to get my money back. -Ed

I expect that I'll wait a bit too. I'm a little disappointed that they aren't explaining the situation better, but I guess I can live with that. I'm thinking they ran into some licening or copyright issue.

Honestly, TSBs and all other service bulletins should be free to the public as it often has to do with the operation of their car which they may either be unhappy with or there may be a slight but not extreme enough safety issue.

I think the obvious reason that these are so difficult to access is the fact that the manufacturers want to limit the number of these TSB-related repairs that they do (since they are repaired for free). People are less likely to bring in a vehicle for things that they don't know about (or for naggy little things that they have just learned to live with).

I'm posting below a number of scanned Canadian TSBs that are relevant to our TCHs. I'll put each in a separate post, so that they can be individually referenced. Where known to me, I'm giving both the Canadian and the US TSB numbers. (As far as I know, the TSB names are identical in both countries.)

Apparently only Kentucky-made Camrys have this problem. (Bad spelling error in the TSB's title!)

Gives reasons for preferring the 0W-20 over the 5W-20 oil. The TCH Repair Manual says the same thing.
