Question Leather Seat Wrinkles?

For those of you that have leather seats...

Is your seat (not the seat bak) leather tight or are you starting or have wrinkles on the seat bottom...kind of toward the rear of the seat - they would be fine wrinkles near the seams or edges.... or is your seat still stretched tight without any wrinkles... I've got them and I've heard that's normal and I also have heard that it's supposed to remain tight without wrinkles.... I'll try to post pictures later today if I need too....just wanted to see what people thought.... Thanks

well, leather being a skin will stretch over a period of time. My seats have some losening. My leather couch did this too.

Heck, even the Toyota brochures show wrinkles in the leather seat bottoms.

Every TCH I've seen with leather seats (including my own) has had small wrinkles in the seat bottoms of the front seats. I've always assumed they were designed that way to allow room for some stretching when they're sat upon. Over the long run I'd expect that to produce less wear on the leather.

Every leather upholstered vehicle I've ever seen has developed little wrinkles. It's like men -- a few wrinkles adds distinction. (Sadly, doesn't hold as true for women... argh!)

Agreed with Shannon - leather car seats wrinkle unavoidably. Part of the trade-off for the beauty and feel of leather.
