I saw a facebook posting that said Ford is replacing leather seats in 2008 Escapes. Something about the wrong cushion size? I assume reg & FEH use the same seats, but has anyone heard this? Mine seem fine.

 

No '08 TSBs covering leather seats only one about the leather wrapped steering wheels coming apart which covers many Ford/Mercury vehicles.

 

The leather seats on my 08 FEH are fine. The leather wrapped steering wheel, on the other hand, developed a spot where the finish has rubbed of at the 9:30 position. That's the only fit/finish issue I've had other than a squished seat belt retainer in the back seats.

 

Thanks! I figured as much as I read through the escape forum sites I would have noticed this by now, probably some Toyota troll! Next post they'll be talking about how RWD is murdorous!
