A couple of weeks ago, there was a thread about extended warranties and prices that were seen on edmunds.com.

Since then, no one has written anything more.

Has anyone bought a Toyota extended warranty lately for the THC?

Is the pricing different from the regular non-hybrid Camry?

How much are they really selling for, how long is the warranty for, and who are the dealers offering the best deals?

I'm sure there are plenty of savvy buyers who have found some great deals.

Anyone?

You know what the weird thing is? The dealer sent me the Platinum Extended warranty package in the mail. I don't remember purchasing it at all and I can't find it on my purchase invoice. I got the car for 34K for everything. My TCH is loaded by the way.

 

There's no such thing as deals, when it comes to extended warranties. Even if you plan on keeping your car past the length of the standard warranty (8-10 years), the added cost of an extended warranty only ensures you'll be upside-down on your loan, past the length of the standard warranty.
