Has anyone noticed their guage lights getting dimmer and then brighter under different power scenarios? I noticed this morning that my lights - only a few times - would get brighter all of a sudden and it seemed to be connected with the gas engine kicking in - but I need to test more as it didn't do it all of the time... Just wondering if others have noticed this.... Thanks

 

Are you referring to the blue light around the speedometer? That will get brighter in several steps as your mpg for the trip increases.

Or could it have been that your headlights were turning on and off as the surrounding lighting changed (say driving under a stand of trees)? The lights do dim on the interior when the headlights turn on.

The blue rings are an obvious possibility, though..
