Question Guage Lights get brighter under Gas Power?

Has anyone notice their guage lights getting dimmer and then brighter under different power scenarios? I noticed this morning that my lights - only a few times - would get brighter all of a sudden and it seemed to be connected with the gas engine kicking in - but I need to test more as it didn't do it all of the time... Just wondering if others have noticed this.... Thanks

We've seen no differences in illumination with gas engine on/off or rpms. But, one part of the gauge illumination that CAN change suddenly is the blue ring around the gauges. It gets brighter as your current trip mpg gets better. It only has a few discrete levels of brightness, so it can increase (or decrease) suddenly.

I've had the same thing happen to me several times, but I have not been able to figure out exactly when it occurs. Or why

Thanks - that makes some sense - did you read that in manual? Pretty Cool!

Set your Multi Function Display to ECO. The increase in the blue arc brightness is tied to the "steps" in the ECO Drive Level display.
