Default bluetooth connection volume increase

Hi all,

I bet this has already been discovered and discussed... But, if any of you don't know it yet (I just discovered it for myself a couple of days ago), the volume control on the steering wheel allows the control of the volume on the phone bluetooth connection speaker. It actually gets pretty loud if you want it to be. Btw, the radio control volume doesn't do the trick.

Over 20k miles - still loving the car.

Good point Peter. You will also notice that the sound comes only from your left front speaker. I also find that if I don't hestitate before responding to the caller, we get alot of crosstalk. Slow steady speech seems to work best.

Yeah, cutting into each other in a one-at-a-time mode of operation is a pain. I actually find myself more often reverting to my regular headset instead. Especially since my girlfriend complains about it (and I have trouble understanding her sometimes, especially early in the morning) if I use the car's hands-free.

Wow. I read so much about the problems people have with their bluetooth and handsfree operation, that it makes me wonder what I'm doing wrong. Since I received my TCH in June, my bluetooth cell connection has worked flawlessly. Everyone says they have no problem hearing me, and I certainly have no problems hearing them. The voice recognition (almost) always understands me correctly. My only complaint there is that the number of steps to go through to do what you want is higher than it needs to be, often to the degree of being annoying.
