Default Blue Bat full smoke taillight overlays

I've installed full smoke vinyl overlays on my rear taillights!

My car was a "2007 Camry test mule" for a gentleman that goes by BlueBat. He produces vinyl overlays for a variety of cars. (Disclaimer for certain people on this board - I am not an employee of BlueBat nor associated with him in any way other than as a retail customer of his product).

This install was fairly difficult, and I'm not clumsy when it comes to messing with my car. From my signature line, you can see all the mods I've done to my car. But it took me 4+hrs to install these four pieces, so take on this project at your own risk. You can tell my install was done by an amateur if you look very closely at the edges of the lights where you had to stretch the material. But looking at it from more than 2ft away, you can't see any of the imperfections.

The finished install gives the car a nice aggressive look. Even my wife who hates how I mod up my car said that she like the smokey look. There is no problem with the LED's showing thru the vinyl at night. In fact, you can hardly tell that the vinyl is there.

BlueBat has asked me to link up the photos directly on his website, but anyone here familiar with my car can see that it's mine. If interested in purchasing these overlays, you can contact BlueBat at bluebatmobile@san.rr.com and see all the photos of his work at WWW.BLUEBATMOBILE.NET. I'm happy to answer any questions about this product or the installation technique.

Here is a really good instructional video on how to apply these kinds of vinyl overlays. (note - video is not from BlueBat, but the install technique is exactly the same) This professional can do this single piece in <10 minutes.
