Default Availablility of winter mats

Does anyone have any idea on if, or when, the (presumably redesigned) winter mats will be available?
Thanks!

I bought a set right before Christmas. I just called my local dealer here in Maryland and they had them in stock. I don't know if they were newly designed or the same as before the recall, but they are definitely OEM and they fit great. They were pricey at $100 but I was being reimbursed for them as a Christmas gift.

I got mine about two days after I got my recall card in the mail. They had to order it. After it was in I couldn't see any diffference compared to the old one other than it was clean.

I think my dealership had them last month. That said I didn't bother to get the redesigned one since I am competent enough to install mine correctly.

Two dealers I called said they are under a "do not sell" order.
Any dealers selling them?

Umm. Yeah. I still don't understand what the design flaw is supposed to be when you only have a problem with it if you don't follow the warning.

They're (supposedly) being redesigned so that they can't by installed on top of the other mat.

I understand that. What I can't understand is why anyone thinks they need to bother. Can't people just read instructions and apply common sense?

I know. Just wondering what happened to peoples' sense of personal responsibility.
