Almost any Sears Essentials auto department, WalMart, Autozone, Advanced Auto or similar should carry 0w-20 in something other than Mobil 1. I know that our local stores carry Castrol, Pennzoil and Mobil 1 in both 5w-20 and 0w-20 full synthetic.

 

I found some 0w20 Mobil1 today in Brazil, IN on my way to Terre Haute at AutoZone. Bought 5 quarts @ 7.29 a quart. Very expensive, but probably not many hybrids in that area. That is what the guys working there lead me to believe.

Has anyone found Valvoline or Pennzoil synthetic in 0w20? I can't find it anywhere. I can find Mobil 1, Valvoline and Pennzoil synthetic in 5w20.

Valvoline SynPower is not made in 0w-20. Try asking your local auto parts store (Advanced, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, etc.) if they will order whatever flavor of 0w-20 you want from their jobber.

For those just HAVE to have Pennzoil 0w-20 (regardless of cost) and you can not find a local source, try http://www.oil-store.com. It is a little more expensive than Mobil 1 but some tend to like it better.

 

Just so you guys know, Advance Auto Parts is currently running an oil change special with 5 qts of Mobil 1 (they usually have 0W-20 and 5w-20 available) and a Mobil 1 filter for $29.99. The special runs through March 25th.
