Default Opinons on packages

Hi NAH Folks!

I am in the market for a NAH and I wanted to get people's opinions of packages. What I'm being offered for deals are the convenience package, the connection package w/XM w/o moonroof, and the tech package w/moonroof. I'm looking at a 4k jump from the first to the second, and a 2900 jump from that to the tech package. I want to hear from people with the tech package and the connection package if they find the options really useful? In terms of stereo, I know I can always upgrade that myself, and with regard to the NAV, I don't really care since I have several GPS units. I'm more interested in the other features if possible. Does the connection package have the LCD screen that displays the vehicle information? Or does only the tech package have that?

Only the tech package has the LCD screen with the display info and energy consumption infor.

I got the tech package enough though I didn't need the NAV. I just wanted the complete package.

I went with the base model because of cost savings, but you should go at least a convenience package for the auto-headlights and power driver seat, which do come in handy. True, you can always add DVD\NAV later like this LINK
for a lot less. I spec'd out a unit for myself, and the center panel frame can be purchase for less than $20. LINK Good Luck!

I'm gonna go ahead and do it! I'm being offered 22,000 on an 07 with convenience so I don't think I can resist . I'll add DVD/NAV and better speakers, etc later!

We got whatever package puts the little fin on the back of your car. It's funny, but that little fin really makes the car look 100% better. I wanted a NAV system... but we didn't want anything else in the techie pack... so we just bought a portable GPS instead.

that's the convenience package. Anyone have any opinions on the upgraded stereo? It went from 6 to 9 speakers, so something must have changed. I guess I could drop in some nice Cantons or something, but I don't think the dealership will honor warranty claims if I upgrade all the audio...
