New Escape hybrid owner
Hey everyone. Just wanted to say hello and tell you what a great site this is to behold. I bought my 2006 FWD Escape Hybrid three weeks ago and it really amazes me. My mpgs so far are in the high 20's which is more than double what I was getting before with my full size pickup. And I hear that there is a break-in period so hopefully the numbers will go up later. This hybrid really is a modern marvel. Hope to chat later with the group.

Glad to hear that you're enjoying your FEH, looks like I've had mine a week longer; it is nice, isn't it?
Has it changed you as a driver much? Mine has done a lot to change the way I drive.

Hey guys,
It only took exactly five weeks to get here. It really has changed how I drive and has made me more aware of the fuel that I am saving or wasting. I really drive more conservatively now. I am hoping for even better mpgs as I accumulate more mileage on my vehicle. I love it so far.
