Ramsey from upstate New York signing on. Got the Accord Hybrid on 12/11/04 after deciding not to wait for a Prius that would take too long or for a Lexus 400h that would cost too much. So far, I really like the car. Taking some getting used to after many Saabs. Mileage a bit disappointing so far (see database) but I think it will improve as it breaks in and with warmer weather. Often the MPG saving tricks do not kick in before I get where I am going this time of year. Also, I did feel the need to put 4 Nokian snows on as the all-seasons were not going to get me safely through the winter here. Thanks for the site Jason!

 

Welcome! In 500 miles, don't expect to really see your car perform well, yet. Also, this isn't the best time of year for optimal mileage. Too cold!

Welcome to GreenHybrid. For being in NY, and having snow tires on, I'd say you're doing fine. Remeber that you are also driving a car that is better for the environment than the average car. (It has a rating of ULEV)
