Default Honda Advances Clean Car Image With New Hybrid, FCX

Honda continues to develop new fuel efficient vehicles to maintain its industry lead as the "greenest" car company. Next year Honda will lease a fuel cell vehicle that gets an equivalent of nearly 70 mpg -- if you happen to live near one of the few hydrogen fueling stations. Honda has been developing the FCX for nearly two decades and finally believes the car is ready for the real world. Even at the higher mpg, getting hydrogen from fossil fuels isn't worth the cost of the vehicles and energy loss of the conversion today.
