How much did you pay for your hybrid civic?

Re: How much did you pay for your hybrid civic?
Just got my 2006 HCH2 w/o navi below $25k out the door (MSRP+tax/licenses/fees) at Gilroy Honda 2 weeks ago. Bought outside of Silicon Valley where dealers are charging $2k-$4k over MSRP. Quite pleased with the no hassle/haggle deal. Look for Dan.

I'm surprised they are still adjusting for "market demand" when the carpool sticker count has exceed 75,000 and the gas prices have fallen to $2.51 where I live (from $3.50 just 4 months ago)... here in sunny california. Perhaps people want a hybrid after all and has nothing to do with the stickers and fueld price...?
Thanks,
Shawn

Just Ordered my 2007 Civic Hybrid No-Navi with all season mats for $22K which includes destination. That's $1195 off msrp and includes $100+ all season mats. Very happy.
2007 Hybrid retail cost without Nav is 23,195 with destination,

That looks like a good deal. Hopefully the numbers will not change when the car arrives. Where are you located? That would help us gauge the pricing for perspective buyers. Maybe the price in gas has changed the market, but the gas will definitely go back up.

Re: How much did you pay for your hybrid civic?
Well, I don't think they can change the numbers on me since I already have the buyers order signed and a deposit made. A buyers order is just like a contract, they are willing to sell me the car at that price as long as they are in business, and I am agreeing to buying that car if it meets my expectations at the price agreed upon. Also this is without any trade
Through my search this is what I came up with from a couple Honda dealers and when i got the prices all in PA:
MSRP 7/06
-$100 MSRP 7/06
MSRP + $100 worth of accessories free 7/06
-$750 MSRP 10/06
-$1000 MSRP 10/06
and my deal of course -$1195 MSRP +all season mats 10/06
SO ya I think because of it being the end of the busy season and the drop in gas prices I don't think anyone should pay any less than $500 - $1000 off MSRP.
If anyone wants to know my dealer PM me and I will give you the name of the sales manager that gave me the deal.

Just an FYI. Although the MSRP has gone up the true dealer invoice hasnt. So there is more room for discounts off MSRP in essence.
The original MSRP, a scant 6 months ago-- was 21850.
Same car.

It's kind of irrelavant, unlike most other Honda's (excluding the '07 CRV and Civics), typically dealers will not deal from invoice as yet, due to supply and demand issues.
Edited to correct the price - it was wrong; looked it up and corrected it!

Re: How much did you pay for your hybrid civic?
I bought my 06 Galaxy Gray w/ Navi for MSRP + $1500 mark up and $100 for chrome exhaust tips, wheel locks and mud guards in August.
I was about to purchase a 06 Magnetic Pearl w/ Navi for MSRP and free chrome exhaust tips, wheel locks and mud guards. I would have sold my Galaxy Gray on Auto Trader. Decided I did not want to go through the stress of waiting for car pool stickers again. So I'm keeping my GG.
