Default Which fuse do I pull to kill the DRL's?

I am not a fan of highbeam DRL's. I have sensitive eyes and unless it's dark out, I always wear sunglasses outside. Whenever a Saturn is approaching in the opposite lane, its highbeam DRL's drive me nuts. I don't want to inflict this on anyone else. Highbeam DRL's are not a safety feature. Parking/four-way DRL's are another story.

So which fuse is it or is it more involved than that?

EDIT: Nevermind. Found it.

parking lights, when run in certain states, are for parked not moving vehicles. Moving with them on, only, is illegal.

Then there are a whole lot of Buick sedans that are illegal because most Buick DRL's use the four-way flashers instead of highbeams.

Highbeam as in brights? Hmmm, I always thought DRLs were just the regular headlights. Learn something new everyday.

I wouldn't worry about it. The DRL is not high beam and it's much dimmer than your regular headlights. Try stopping in front of a wall where you can see the light from the DRL. Then turn on your headlights. You'll see a big change in brightness.
